The accompanying CD has the story read aloud with amusing inserts of Melody Bear's attempts to play the instruments, followed by Eugene Kulikov's imaginative compositions for children to dance to as mermaids, birds, robots and carnival dancers. Easy to follow notes are included for parents and teachers suggesting dance movements appropriate to the story.
Jill Bridger is a choreographer and a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Her Melody Movement dance syllabus, featuring the loveable teddy Melody Bear, is specially structured for toddlers and preschool aged children. The syllabus is now taught by teachers in the UK, Europe and Australia.
