Do You Believe In Father Christmas? - By Debbie Campbell
Product Description
Christmas shoppers rush around in a last-minute panic while the band plays carols and market traders call out. The sound of a musical box reminds old Mrs O’Deary of her childhood, while Mrs Grumbles complains about the stress and expense of it all nowadays! They both accept when a kind family invite them for Christmas.
Next we visit a classroom where a stressed-out teacher is trying to rehearse the Nativity with over-excited children and withouth the ‘three wise men’ who have gone missing!
At last it’s Christmas Eve in the family house and things have settled down - except the tree lights not working as usual! When everyone is asleep, Mrs Christmas drops in - Father Christmas is off work with flu! Her gifts include the music box for Mrs O’Deary and at last the true spirit of Christmas shines through.
With a fun script, nine lively songs and dances and plenty of solo and chorus parts, this musical will be a favourite among all ages in Primary Schools. Suitable for Key Stages 1-2 (ages 5-11).
A CD containing professionally recorded demonstration and backing tracks for your rehearsals and performances is included with the book. Alternatively, the tracks are available to purchase and download here.
