Bumblesnouts Save The World, The - By Debbie Campbell
Product Description
The Bumblesnouts are gentle aliens who travel all the way from outer space in a funny old spaceship to show humans how to take better care of their planet.
But on arrival they are horrified when they are attacked by bullies and sprayed with pesticide! Trigger-happy hunters, lumberjacks and gangsters in their fumey car add to the wanton distruction. In other words, everyone is behaving very badly. So, the Bumblesnouts set about trying to show these humans how to take better care of their planet and their own health and well-being at the same time. The lesson they bring is that Earth is an amazing place and every living thing on it has a right to survive!
With a witty script with plenty of solos and choruses, catchy songs and lively dances, Bumblesnouts is an ideal show for Key Stages 1 and 2 (ages 5-11) in primary schools and youth theatre groups.
This conservation musical, commissioned by The World Wide Fund for Nature, was premiered at St Thomas Hospital, London, and has been performed in schools and threatres in the UK and worldwide.
