Product Description

This is an original and wonderful new version of the traditional Christingle service for young people or people of all ages. It has been set for 26 narrators but any number, large or small, could be used. The songs unwrap the traditions and meanings of the Christingle and Christingle oranges can either be made up as it develops or brought on at the end.

There is an opportunity for younger children to insert a Nativity in the middle and this has been scripted as an optional extra (or they could sing an extra song or carol).

Christingle Rock’s songs are uplifting and moving and the service finishes with a great celebration. It makes a perfect Christmas service or performance for schools and churches everywhere. The CD has songs and backing tracks. Perfect for Key Stages 1 and 2.

As with all musical performances, a Performance Licence from Redhead Music will be required if you decide to stage this musical. As a general guideline, performance licence fees usually range between £22 to £28 for the first performance, irrespective of whether or not you charge the audience. Full details accompany the contents of this show, including how to apply for a performance licence direct from the publisher.
