‘Great script, easily adaptable for different numbers of children, catchy songs which are easy & quick to learn, lots of great hints for costumes etc. ... plus the soundtrack which includes music for sound effects and to cover scene changes. Altogether, a fab musical resource for busy teachers. I would highly recommend it!’

Following on from the success of A & C Black’s Roald Dahl series of musicals comes a sparkling adaptation of Han’s Christian Andersen’s Snow Queen. Kay is swept into the Snow Queen's icy sleigh and stolen away to her frozen palace. Gerda, his best friend, sets out on a brave journey to rescue him.
A complete performance pack including book (containing score in melody line format and pull-out script with staging directions, costume ideas, cast list and production overview) and an enhanced CD (with backing tracks, incidental music, full performances of the songs, additional staging ideas and dance suggestions, acting activities for developing confident performers, supplementary composition activities, complete piano/vocal score to print out, all song words for classroom use and CD cue list including timings and useful descriptions).
