One of the most popular musicals from Sheila Wilson! The title sums up the fun and the appeal of the show. The nativity is told with the usual favourite characters but featuring the shepherds in particular, and with passing reference to the Good Shepherd at the end.
There are kazoos and hand-jives and great entertainment but some gentle moments too, such as the angels’ simple four-part round ‘Peace on Earth’. There are a minimum of 15 in the cast, with opportunities to add more. Permission is given to extend the cast list or the dialogue.
This musical is perfect for Key Stages 1 or 2 or for either to use individually. It is ideal for schools and churches. The CD provides songs and backing tracks.
Approximate Duration: 35 minutes
A brand new nativity for 3 to 5 year olds. Shepherd Little, Bethlehem's smallest resident, has a little trouble with the truth. So, when he makes a claim he's seen a person with wings who has an amazing story to tell, who on earth's going to believe him?
A fun-filled fantasy adventure that makes an unforgettable leavers' show for Year 6! There is a brilliant array of colourful characters, giving plenty of children an opportunity to shine, and the music is stunning, encouraging even the most reluctant of singers to take part with gusto.
On Christmas Eve, a group of young children find a fallen star lying in the street. Realising that it must be the Christmas Star (and, without its reappearance in the sky, there won't be any Christmas!) the children travel via the Policeman, the Astronomer and Santa Claus back to the very first Christmas night.
Set within a story from old English folklore, this musical is a simple explanation of the Christmas message, that Jesus was born in human form to show mankind the character of God. A refreshing new look at what lies at the heart of the Christmas story - something completely different.
Here Comes Christmas is packed with sparkling songs that children will love to sing, with great new repertoire as well as some previously unfeatured favourites from within the Starshine catalogue.
This has to be one of the easiest nativity musicals to produce - and one of the most adorable! Even the costuming is easy, as nearly everyone can simply wear their pyjamas! The perfect answer for those wanting to re-tell the Nativity story in a direct and simple way that even the youngest may understand.
