This musical is a great resource for a class space project. Space Cadets are sent to Moonbase X to repair the resident Androids that have a virus. During the flight, the Cadets experience the loud blast off, smooth silent orbit and bumpy landing!
Then it's time to test out their survival skills and equipment, eat space food and go moon-hopping - 'One small step for mankind, one giant leap for a kid! But when the Androids hijack and wreck the spacecraft, the Cadets wonder how they'll ever get back home again ...
This musical has been performed in venues around the world, including the London Planetarium.
Includes opportunities for dance, actions, and experimentation on percussion and electronic keyboards. Ideal as an end of term production at any time of the year.
Suitable for Key Stages 1-2 (ages 7-11). Cross curricular aspects include science, geography, citizenship, music, dance, drama, art and design.
